Washington Jewish Healing Network
Mission

The objective of the Washington Jewish Healing Network is to promote programs, activities, and resources to those seeking spiritual, physical, and emotional healing. We are rabbis and therapists who came together in 1995 and began to share ideas for bringing the Jewish healing movement to the Washington area.

What We Do

We lead short-term groups for people who seek spiritual support from the resources of Judaism. We incorporate these resources -- prayer, music, blessings, study and more -- into each session to aid paripants in their healing. Discussions are based on texts from the Bible, the Talmud, and modern Jewish literature. Each group is led by a rabbi and a psychologist, combinning psychological and religious insight.

We provide adult education courses on a variety of topics.

We help synagogues develop and design healing services.

We train therapists and rabbis in how to incorporate spiritual healing into their work.
